Alek Kopulsky

6th Grade Teacher

At Brandeis, I am entering my senior year. I major in public health and psychology, and minor in Hebrew. I just returned from seven months at Ben Gurion University in Be’er Sheva, where I studied global health and a ton of Hebrew. At Brandeis, I am involved in Waltham Group, Brandeis’s main service organization. In Waltham Group, I coordinate programming for Prospect Hill Kids’ Club, a tutoring and mentoring program for 1st-6th graders. I am also a research assistant at the Social Interaction and Motivation lab at Brandeis, where I study interpersonal differences in empathy. Finally, I am active in Hillel at Brandeis where I lead services for BaRuCh, the Reform Chavurah. In my free time, I enjoy drawing and writing music with my guitar.”
